SERMON:  The Times Are Always Crazy
SCRIPTURE:  Romans 8:31-39

RESPONSIVE READING—Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Leader:  For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven;
Everyone:  A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
Leader:  A time to kill and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
Everyone:  A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
Leader:  A time to throw away stones, and as time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
Everyone:  A time to seek and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away;
Leader: A time to tear and a time to sew; a time to keep silence and a time to speak;
Everyone:  A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH--APOSTLES CREED
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried.  He descended into hell.  On the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name
Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.  Amen
