SERMON: Remember With Gratitude
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 19:13-15
RESPONSIVE READING—Psalm 150
Leader: Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in his mighty heavens.
Everyone: Praise him for his acts of power; praise Him for his surpassing greatness.
Leader: Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre,
Everyone: Praise Him with timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe,
Leader: Praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals
Everyone: Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH—PRAYER FROM BOOK OF COMMON WORSHIP
Eternal God, you sent us a Savior, Christ Jesus, to break down the walls or hostility that divide us. Send peace on earth, and put down greed, pride, and anger, which turn nation against nation and race against race. Speed the days when wars will end and the whole world accepts Your rule; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name
Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen
